7/25/2010 - Annual entrepreneur fair has seminars, networking
It's that time of year again: The 5th annual Entrepreneur Fair hosted by the Disney Entrepreneur Center is set for Aug. 26.
If you've never been to the center — or even if you're a tried-and-true veteran — this is a good chance to find out about the free business training and other services that the center offers. Inside are 13 service providers that call the center home, including the University of Central Florida's Small Business Development Center, Score Orlando, and various chambers of commerce.
This year's Entrepreneur Fair is scheduled for 1-7 p.m. The free event includes business seminars, vendor displays, networking, and a procurement roundtable hosted by NAWBO Orlando.
The event has proved so popular in previous years that it's moving to a new location this time: the Sheraton Orlando Downtown (formerly the downtown Orlando Marriott, across from the old Amway Arena) at 400 W. Livingston St.
