9/14/2009 - Update: Entrepreneur Fair

The Disney Entrepreneur Center welcomed about 400 people for its annual entrepreneur fair and expo last month.

The event included educational sessions on banking, managing in tough times and sales.

The center also launched its 100 Club and has about 10 members who have already signed up for the exclusive networking group.

"That's a way for a hundred engaged entrepreneurs to connect for networking ... but also a way to help us fund our center," said Jerry Ross, director of the entrepreneur center.

The DEC is hoping to reach its goal of 100 members for the new club by the end of the year.
